County 2nd Team v Derbyshire 8th August 2023
This last league match took place at Whittington Heath Golf Club, could Staffs secure their place in the MNR final?
The following players who represented our 2nd team for this match were, Tracy Klek, Charlotte Peters, Rachel Birch, Ruby Horobin, Terri Smith and Nicci Lockley. Everyone of them fought hard throughout the day.
Following the morning foursomes we went into the afternoon singles with a 2 1/2 to a 1/2 deficit. We won the singles 4 - 2 giving an overall match result of 4 1/2 - 4 1/2. Unfortunately this was not quite enough to take us to the final. We wish Derbyshire the very best of luck.
